And so it begins, the long haul of handquilting this quilt. I just couldn't fact trying to quilt this in my machine so am doing it by hand. I tried shadowing the white bits in white and then in red, the red won. I think it looks really cheery and fresh. There is not much more done than is visible in the photo so I have a long way to go. Mind you it will keep my knees warm this winter while I work on it.
It's fabulous! I just love the stitching with red. I also think the striped border is super.
